Back to School...Back to Comp!

It's back-to-school time, which means it's back-to-competition time too! There are some changes going on here in Washington state cheer. For those of you competing, please make sure you're up on the changes.

New categories have been added this year. The WIAA has approved these categories for high school cheer, which means they will be available for Rec cheer as well. There will be a new Game Day category, focusing on sideline skills, and a new Stomp category focusing on a fun rhythmic offshoot of drill. Check out the scoresheets, rubrics, and other information at www.WSCJA.com, the Washington State Cheer Judges Association website. Let's make this an amazing season!

The Eastside Dream Elite cheerleading program is associated with Renton Parks, Kirkland Parks, and Issaquah Parks. Try-outs are not required for any EDE teams, and all teams are non-competitive except for Red Squad.  We work hard to keep costs low for EDE participants.  Scholarships for class fees are available from the respective organizations for residents who qualify.  Uniform fees are not covered by those scholarships, however we make every effort to help those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to participate.
